Dr. Lara Harvey
Lara Harvey, MD, MPH is a minimally invasive gynecologic surgeon. She trained in obstetrics and gynecology before completing a fellowship in gynecologic surgery in 2016. Her career in academic medicine encompasses patient care, teaching, and research — including projects in robotics and endometriosis — alongside public outreach through TEDx and organized medicine.

When not operating, Lara has a deep interest in the interface between medicine and the humanities, public health, and anthropology. A native Tennessean, she lives in Brentwood with her husband and four children.
Dr. Mandy Yunker
Dr. Mandy Yunker is a gynecologic surgeon who has been caring for patients since 2010. After training in OB-GYN, completing a fellowship in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery with a focus on chronic pelvic pain, and earning a master's degree in clinical research, she built a career that spans both academic medicine and the Veterans Affairs healthcare system, where she currently practices.

Beyond the operating room, Mandy is fascinated by the stories behind medicine—how healthcare has evolved over time, how culture and society shape the care we provide, and what we can learn by looking at medicine through a broader lens. She brings that same curiosity to every conversation.
Mandy lives in Nashville with her husband, their two daughters, and their dog, George.
Courtney McClendon
Courtney McClendon is NOT a doctor, but has experienced her fair share of doctor's appointments and feels strongly about advocating for patients. She works in Development at a local University and lives in Nashville with her husband, their two daughters, and a Havanese named Oliver.
